Autumnbreak and GEEKcore 2015 part 1

3 weeks before GEEKcore I startede working on my Felsa (Fire Elsa) cosplay.. ~Should have startede earlier... I will write a separate post about how I made my cosplay and how me and Lucy managed to "finish" hers (so it was wearable). But here is a picture of our cosplay:

We were very happy the the outcome but there is still much more to do on these cosplays, since they are not entirely finished yet but we still wanted to wear them, because this will probably be the last convention for me in a long time since I will go to South Korea the 15th February (I bought my plane ticket.. more about that later ~YEAH)

Lucy had come to Esbjerg the week before the start of GEEKcore because we had to work on her cosplay. And boy did we work on it!!! We had an allnighter from thursday the 8th to friday. we also worked the entire friday. I had work Saturday and sunday morning so she had to go home at about 10-11pm friday and come back Saturday after I finished work. Saturday I also had to go buy last minute cosplay things like paint, paint brushes, printer-paper, footsies (those one you can wear in ballerinas) and nylon stockings. I went with Maria because she also had some things to do in the city. After our shopping trip we went to get lunch at Sunset Boulevard. We then went home to me and awaited Lucy's arrival (she did not know that Maria would join us. It was a surprise). Maria was hiding (very obvious hiding place) but Lucy did not she her before I startede laughing.

TUESDAY the 13th Lucy and I took the train at 9:42am from Esbjerg to Værløse (where Lucy is living).

I would be sleeping with her in her caravan which is located in Chrilles backyard. So I got to spend some time with him.. He was so nice he made fried-rice with ham for me and Lucy Tuesday and in the evening we went to get bubbletea. We went to a place called The Mad Hatter. It was a very nice place:

I got the Mango flavor with Jasmin tea (what a surprise) and passion fruit bubbles ~It was not cheap. I payed 42 kr for a regular one O_O:

WEDNSDAY we went to help Cafe Sweet Vanilla bake cake for our secret store at GEEKcore in Valby. We took the S-train to Valby. in the train I was checking out plane tickets to South Korea on Momondo. The price on the tickets had been raising the past days so in order to get the cheapest one I bought my plane ticket on the train. So it's official I will be leaving Denmark the 15th February 2016 ~I can't wait!!!!

We arrived at Kraftværket not long after. The place we had to bake. It was me, Lucy and Isa that baked the cakes. We had a lot of fun ^^

Chrille Lucy's roommate had also invited us to come and see him game at something called ComParty at a school in Frederiksberg. But before we went there we went to Panduro Hobby in Frederiksberg to buy some glue for my corset since the red paint was all sticky. I later painted the corset with glue.. (It worked  but no rain for me because the glue was water-based ~OMG!!). We saw Chrille play LOL but they lost all their battles. Crilles fave LOL character had been banned so I believe that is the reason for their loss.

Lucy and I took the bus back to Valby we wanted to sleep after I had painted my corset but there was so much noise because of a concert, so we had to wait. In the end we were allowed to sleep in the same room as Cosplay Couch because Allan (owner of GEEKcore) is such a nice person which was away from the noise!! ^^

THURSDAY the 15th October - the first day of GEEKcore:

I had a Ninja event with one of my teammate Mathias (Again I was on the event team ~Yeah!!) from 03:00-04:00pm. It was really fun even though we were not that many compared to Genki. If you don't know what Ninja is check out this link (I don't own this video!)

After Ninja I went to find Lucy so we could put on our cosplay. She only had an hour before she had to work, so we were in a hurry to get it on. She had to go before she got to help me with my corset, so I had to do it myself. I managed but it was hard!! After I had got I on I went down to her in the Secret Store and as soon as we had gotten our capes on there were people that wanted pictures of us!! I will make an update when I get them because we got a business card: Blue Beard Photography.

After the little photoshoot I went to the mangaworkshop and this is what I drew:

When Lucy got off work we had some time before my next event: Anime Bingo, so we ran around checking out the convention.

The time for Anime Bingo was nearing. So I had to make sure everything was ready. I had to print the material and one of my helpers Edward put up the tables and chairs and I started cutting the Anime Bingo paper sheets out with help from many other helpers and my co-event partner Mikkel!

Lucy was attending the event, so nice of her!!! ^^

The Event after was Disney Quiz which we attended but we left before the results because we knew we had not won!

After the event Lucy and I went to sing karaoke and of course we had to sing Let it Go from Frozen. But instead of singing let it go during the chores I sang Let it Burn ~It was so fitting since I was Fire Elsa!! We also sang "Part of Your World" from The Little Mermaid.

After some hours of singing we went to the sleephall around 1,2 km away so we took of our cosplay and put on our pyjamas!
We made a wrong turn so we ended up walking a lot longer then necessary but a man helped us by giving us directions XP even though we had a map to go by we still managed to get "lost":

Genki 2015 - Saturday 1st August

SATURDAY came and I woke up at 7:13am and directly went to take a shower!! This Time I was lucky because the water was not cold yet not warm but somewhere in between. After the nice shower I went to get some breakfast, which Peter (teamleader) had bought. I had to pay 10 kr. to eat but I think that was a fair deal!!

One of the events I wanted to go to was Wig Workshop, but I wasn’t sure if I could make it because I had to host an event at 11:00. So I could only stay for 1 hour. But Allan (He owns Geekcore, which is the next con I will go to) asked me if I wanted to come and join… I thought HELL YEAH but I had to go not soon after but it was really cool to get to participate!! Michelle (one of my good friend) had also joined. I left the event about 10 minutes before 11:00 and meet op with Maria the one I had to host the event (Ninja) with only to learn that we did not have to host the event because another mistake had been made!! We were kinda disappointed so we asked Mikkel (Groupleader) about hosting the event anyways if we could get people to join. He said yes! So we went outside, were we ran around asking people to join Ninja! And people came but not quite enough. So we borrow the microphone from the outdoor stage and asked again. Which resulted in more people joining. Here is a picture, which shows the amount of people joining:

After the event I went over to HQ (Head Quarters), the place for staffer to get information and food! I picked up my sandwich with chicken. Then I went around and talked with friends and I meet Martin (another teamleader). We went around together around dealerhall/expohall and looked at stuff.

Pocky Stick with Greentea taste ~It was really bad!!

 I saw some people running around with traditional Japanese food called taiyaki. I had always wanted to try them so we went outside to take a look at the food stalls and I bought one! I was very excited but that excitement soon disappeared… the taste was reater weird but still good I liked it and I did not like it. The redbean paste had a texture, which I did not like but the taste was good though. I believe I would have loved it if there weren’t that much redbean paste inside, because I had to take some of it out.  Martin bought some shaved ice with lemon taste! I was surprised at how good it was ~very delicious ^^ The Worbla Workshop was about to start and I wanted to join but before the convention you had to sign up. Sadly I had forgotten to do that which was also the case for the wig workshop (but I could still join). So I thought if they are lacking people then I would love to join. To my luck there was not enough people so I joined. Be had to pair up with other people and my partner was a guy (whose name I sadly have forgotten ~Gomenasai).  Here is a picture of my finished project ~it’s my first time

After the workshop was over we got to take some of the worbla/foam with us home. That was pretty cool because I can try it again and maybe this time make something a bit prettier ^^

Martin, Peter, Firat and Anders, had decided to cosplay the Fake PowerPuff Girls. So here is a picture of that. 

 Martin the changed into normal cloths and we went out to get something to eat from the food stalls. We got fried chicken ~very delicious!!A bit later I found the people from cosplay couch. They went around with a speaker and scarred the crap out of people with creepy sounds. I joined them and it was kind of fun but I also felt sorry for the people they scarred.
I meet one of my great friend named Laurits and talked to him and asked him if he was going to otaku hour which I was again hosting together with other teammates. He said that he was going to come see it and maybe participate.

 After otaku hour I went to bed at 2:30am

Genki 2015 - Friday the 31th (First real day at the con)

SOOOOO SORRY FOR THE LATE UPDATE!!! I have been really busy with all kinds of stuff! ^^

Friday came without warning!
I woke up pretty early so I would have enough time to make myself ready because we had another staff meeting at 10:00am, and I needed a shower, so I woke up at 7:15am! ^^
I went to to take a shower and there were only me and a girl named Michelle (very nice)^^ She told me that there was no hot water, and therefore the water was ICE COLD!!!! I felt that I could die any minute at that time!!! All though it was cold I managed to wash my hair as well... @_@!! 

Despite the cold morning I wouldn't let that ruin my day.. Besides the cold WOKE UP REALLY FAST!!!*_*
When I came back everyone from my team had already eaten breakfast.. (Peter/teamleader had bought it for us), so I had to eat breakfast alone ~SadFace, but breakfast was nice ^^

After the meeting at 10:00am it was time to set up the Café Sweet Vanilla booth at Community corner. I had some days before made the baner for our booth:

 and they were very nice people and it happened to be these people I would hangout with the most during the convention.!

The convention opened at 12:00pm and many guests had already been standing outside waiting for the convention to open!! I was very surprised to see people arrive at 10:00am!! \(*o*)/
 Because of some misunderstandings and problems with the eventprogram... I had to hold a Ninja Event at around 13:00pm
To those of you who doesn't know what ninja is, then it's a stopmotion game. You have to hit your enemies hands one by one and look out for your own and it goes in turn! Click here to see a video that shows you what ninja is! (I don't own this video!!)
Hosting this event was really fun but most of the participants were staffers..!! ^^

After hosting the Ninja event I went to look around the dealer hall/Expo hall. Here I meet two of my very good friend Maria and Ditte! I bought some stuff here but since most of the thing that I bought was presents I did not take pictures of them. But I bought a Japanese candy called Mochi (ricecakes with grape filling) ~very good btw!! See picture below! XD

For lunch I bought a sandwich because the staffers could get it cheap XD we got these little paper ting which we could turn in for a sandwich. I bought 3 of them so one for each day! It tasted very good! I got the one with chicken XD

Before I went to Genki I had decided to go to some events XD one of the events was a calligraphy workshop!! That was so fun ^^ We had to learn how to write Mountain(山)is the Japanese way of writing it. It was a fun workshop and the teacher was very funny and nice! ^^

After the workshop I had to sit at the back entrance to check the guests bracelets to make sure that only staffers and guest entered the convention... It was so boring but I had company! so I wasn't alone because we had to be two people on duty ^^
I had so much energy and had a hard time sitting stil.. partly because I WAS FREEZING!! It was very cold!! But I borrowed a planket from some very nice people!! 

My shift ended at 11:00pm and I had around 1 hour until my next started (Otaku Hour).. So I entered gameroom with the people from cosplay couch and we played Tekken.. It was fun! ^^
It was also at this time that horror night had started which was held in gameroom! they were playing Five Nights of Freddy! I finde that game scary and confusing!! XP

The clock almost struck 12:00am and otaku Hour were about to start. The first round: the participants had to drink two sodas, then do a small run, then spin 5 times.. and then drink two more sodas!!! It was funny to look at... ^^ It was Kim from cosplay Couch that won the challenge!

The next one was a spicy noodle challenge! And if I remember correctly it was one of the teamleaders form another team that won this one! But I not entirely sure!

The was the end of friday but before I went to bed I bought a pair of earplugs so I could sleep!!! I was in Heaven!!! ^^
